We are offering accredited Level 1 BTEC Awards in the areas of Land-Based Studies<\/strong> and Performing Arts<\/strong> with the aim of linking people to local opportunities including volunteering, work placements and jobs.

Future plans include BTEC courses in Event Production starting in 2024\u2026 watch this space.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

BTEC Level 1 Introductory Award in Performing Arts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This course is for people who are interested in dance, circus skills, and moving their body. You will develop a personal progression plan and learn how to plan a rehearsal process for a performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unit 2A \u2013 Developing a personal progression plan:<\/strong>
In this unit you will:
A) Explore the skills and behaviours needed to meet personal progression goal
B) Produce a progression plan to meet intended progression goa<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unit PA12 \u2013 Rehearsing for a performance:<\/strong>
In this unit you will:
A) Plan a rehearsal process for a performance
B) Work with others to rehearse and perform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BTEC Level 1 Introductory Award in Land-based Studies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This course is for people who love the outdoors, organic gardening and getting their hands dirty. You will develop a personal progression plan and explore the factors and requirements to successfully propagate and establish young plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unit 2A \u2013 Developing a personal progression plan:<\/strong>
In this unit you will:
A) Explore the skills and behaviours needed to meet personal progression goal
B) Produce a progression plan to meet intended progression goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unit LBS8 \u2013 Growing Plants:<\/strong>
In this unit you will:
A) Explore the factors and requirements to successfully propagate and establish young plants.
B) Carry out the propagation and establishment of young plants, demonstrating a consideration of environmental conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
